22:53 June 1st, 2008 by shadow_of__soulHi,
that it’s my certificate of the folding@home project
and surely you are asking, what it’s that? well, this it’s a project of the standford university to build a supercomputer with the personal computer of all the world to process and simulate the “fold” and “unfold” of the proteins. with this simulation, the cientific can know better how it’s work and treat in the future diferent deseases like alzheimer and some types of cancer.
also, i’m participating for ca contest for a several months of free hosting in hostgator.com
this mean, i can win a host package and helping the humanity at the same time…
it rocks
well, im running this in my 2 oc, in a semprom 3000 and a celeron laptop, take a longgggg time to process a unit but i think it worth the time
also you can run in from background, using you idle processor time, what mean it dont consume resources
well, if you want to try it go to the folding@home website and download the proper client
Regards,
Shadow.
